Ali lives in Wigan and has a background in primary education. She is currently an independent consultant supporting Church schools to flourish. Ali is particularly interested in thinking about how prayer spaces in schools can support the long term spiritual development of pupils and adults. She is passionate about supporting schools and churches to work together to bring about transformation to their communities in the name of Jesus. Ali has experience setting up prayer spaces in both primary and secondary settings and would love to hear from you if you are thinking about cultivating a prayer space in a school in the north west.

Leah is the director of a Christian Schools’ work Charity which helps to support the spiritual wellbeing of the schools in Northamptonshire. They currently run Transitions Prayer Spaces, throughout June for Year Six Students.
Leah has a strong desire to provide a place where children and young people can have the opportunity to engage in prayer – encountering God, and sharing the togetherness that Prayer Spaces can provide. Leah is looking to be a solid support for those wanting to do the same in their local school.

Susie is a former primary school teacher and church children and families worker and lives in Clitheroe with her husband Dan and their four children. Susie is Creative Learning Co-ordinator at a community arts venue where she leads many of the creative projects with children and young people including prayer spaces in schools. Susie is also on the leadership team of Turret House of Prayer, a 24/7 prayer community that serves the Ribble Valley and beyond. The team regularly set up creative prayer spaces in Turret House and at local community events. Susie would love to support people across the North-West as they explore Prayer Spaces in Schools.
Across the nation we have a network of friends who champion the work of Prayer Spaces in Schools in their area and are there to help support others, whether that’s a conversation, a meet up over a coffee or an opportunity to see a prayer space in action. You can find out more about them here.
